these 'firsts' are a lot of fun. naturally i wanted to buy every shoe i saw but i was good. i limited myself to two pairs that she'll get a lot use out of these next four months or so. the store actually keeps a record of mya on file and sends out reminders when it's time for new ones just like the dentist. ha! during our visit another mom showed up with a little boy almost exactly mya's age. they toddled toward each other and briefly held hands. they ended up getting the exact two pairs we got in the 'boy' colors and i have to say...not as cute.
