'pat, pat, pat'

my mom tells me that everyday, several times a day, mya led them out the front door, down the sidewalk where she proceeded to stop and 'pat' the lamp (i've taught her to 'pat' our dog and cats as opposed to rip out their fur. it appears this has translated to non-living things, too). then she would walk to the garage door, wait to be lifted up, and say 'apu' (open). my dad would punch in the code to the door and up it would go, resulting in applause from mya. how cute is that!
