time-out tuesdays

the first tuesday of each month i invite mommas from our church over to the house. ideally these moms would be able to rest and relax while eating a treat made just for them as the kids play nicely in the next room. usually it ends up being just as chaotic as every other day, parents intervening, breaking up fights over toys, teaching them how to play nicely, and somewhere in there scarfing down a chocolate chocolate chip muffin and mug of hot cocoa. we have fun just the same. i am so grateful for these ladies with whom i fellowship. i love entertaining in my home. mya is learning to love it. these are some of the muffins i made. and why no pictures of our babes' faces? they just didn't turn out the way i wanted them to.
