life is full.

as i wrote to one friend recently in an email, life is full. so much is happening so fast for us and those who know us. the days are waning now and soon we will be moving boxes out of our home and into a townhouse north of town. we saw the townhouse yesterday for the first time and it's actually pretty nice. it's not a bad place at all in which to live. it's almost as big as our house. still, it's transition. there's something about transition that is hard. in another email to a friend i wrote, "thank you for pointing me to Jesus, and reminding me to not focus on my circumstances which are ever-changing. even when life feels settled we never have any real control over it. just pseudo-control. it is always important to be reminded of God's sovereignty and sufficiency in all things. He will give me the strength to walk away from current life comforts for something much better."
my friend gave me the following verses on which to meditate. right now, bryan feels edgy and weak, though he is not. i feel like i need to borrow mya's security blanket. but together we are feasting on God's word. It is our strength. As you pray for us, you can pray these verses as Paul prayed for the people of Colosse.
