fun morning

everyday is a new adventure. gone are the days of repetition. i'm all about coming up with new and creative ways to not pass the time, but enjoy time with mya. these days are going by so fast.

this morning we decided to go to a 'different park', as mya calls it. we've only been to this park one time before. instead of eating breakfast at home, we went to the fresh market and picked up a box of $4 granola cereal (heavenly taste), and some $100 container of dried fruit. that one at least seemed reasonable. afterall, someone had to go through the trouble of drying it and i'm sure that person gets the fair wage. then we headed off to the park of kilearn, in the more wealthy neighborhood.

technically, we are not allowed at this park, as i read on the sign just this morning. i thought i'd stand out in my cr-v amongst the beamers. but sure enough, when i stepped on the lot with my hollywood-looking tod, donning sunglasses, granola and dried fruit, the other moms immediately mis-took me for a surgeon's wife.

teasing aside, we had a fun morning followed by lunch ou'side. another way to keep things fun when possible.
