a wedding of our own

mya was still talking about going to a wedding tonight so i decided we'd have a wedding indeed. i dressed her up in a fancy wrap, gave her some heels, make-up (though i think toddlers wearing make up is a bit creepy), jewlery, the whole nine! i said, 'girl, if you're going to a wedding you have got to look the part!' then i sat her down in a chair and told her that's what we do when we go to weddings. we sit and watch. very quietly. then i made bryan come in and be my groom, which he of course was thrilled to do, even though he was watching espn. i told mya that the man and woman stand facing each other, and hold hands, and say, 'i love you'. then they exchange rings and kiss. she looked bored. i don't think she'll ask to go to a wedding ever again.
