laura ashley and mya

laura loves mya. recently she offered to babysit mya just for fun, whether bryan and i had somewhere to go or not. she invited mya over for yummy popsicles and to play with her dog, solomon. at first i thought there was no way mya would go willingly without me. oh contraire! when laura put out her hands to take my from my arms, mya smiled and leaned into her. and off they went to laura's house. mya didn't even look back.
because we're neighbors we get to see laura and her husband often. so often that when laura's husband, walter, is sitting on the front porch reading a book, he might hear something like this shouted from across the way, 'hey walta! i just did a big poop! a black poop!' oh my. she did have a lot of blueberries so the color description is almost accurate. plus, she's potty training so we're making a big deal about poop in the potty.
laura took a lot of really great pictures from their evening together. not featured are the cool flowers laura painted on mya's fingernails. so pretty.
