have you seen 'anne of green gables'? this 4 hour film is decades old and reminds me of my childhood. there's a scene in the movie where 'anne', an orphan, speaks of her longing for a bosom friend, one that knows all there is to know about her and loves her anyway, one who will walk through life with her and no matter how many years go by, time will not alter their friendship. i have found such a friend in sarah, though, i would not ordinarily use that word i do like the meaning of it. the meaning fits. now we get to watch our girls play together. who knows if mya will think of huntleigh as her 'bosom' friend but for now they are able to spend time together each week. this past week they encountered a first together: a movie in the theater! horton hears a who was playing as a summer special for free so sarah, sarah's mom, the girls, and i braved the 90 minute feature, knowing if we had to bail, no money would be lost.
sarah bought the girls popcorn and soda and took some fun pictures of them along the way. i stole these from her blog, so i feel i must give credit where credit is due.
