perfect?

not so much. i officially hate the terrible twos. i hate them like i hate when i walk into the corner of the kitchen counter with my hip. i hate the terrible twos like i hate rain that blows sideways in the wind (directly into my retinas). i hate these terrible twos like i hate EVIL!

my poor child is possessed with these terrible twos. she transforms from having the most adorable, high-pitched voice that speaks words that would melt the hardest of hearts to one that makes ghosts and goblins learn a thing or two. i'd like to say 'she's her father's child' but that would be mean. i most certainly never act this way, nor have ever acted this way, right mom?

oh dear mya, one day you will grow out of this phase. i see the light at the end of the tunnel when i ask you to share and you say 'ok, here you go'. i see it when we were driving in the car yesterday and i couldn't find the store i promised we'd go to. you said, 'but there's a store right there, mommy!' and you pointed to a bank and then 'auto zone'. i see you outgrowing the terrible two's when i tell you to walk away from the street and you think about it for a moment and then run back toward me. you are growing up so fast. i am proud of the toddler i see you becoming. and i really can't wait until all of the changes taking place in you stabilize and we can enjoy sweet mommy/big girl fellowship again.
love you, my-byes!
