boston part II

bryan and i want to thank our friends and family for their heartfelt prayers and support over the last few months.

it didn't take long for the Lord to raise up the necessary funds to intern in boston this summer, though He did provide in some unexpected ways. we sent out four letters to four churches notifying them of our plans and asking for financial support for housing in the city. two of the four churches were able to take care of half the needed support. we are grateful. the other two were unable to give at this time. we didn't have a moment to even wonder how the other half of our financial support would be raised because bryan immediately received and unexpected phone call from a friend who said, 'my wife and i would like to give you whatever money you need for your internship this summer.' when bryan told me this news all i could do was smile and say, 'wow. of course God would provide. but wow.' i am confident the Lord absolutely enjoys providing for His children. when He calls us to do anything, He provides the means necessary. we praise Him for it.

we are excited to announce that we have secured great, affordable housing in the boston area for this summer. we will be in brighton, which is about a 15 minute car ride to work. family in the area describes it as a 'young, lively, fun place to live', so we're looking forward to our extended stay.

my mom and dad are graciously taking molli and kate for the summer.

we are in the process of lining up a subleaser for our st. louis apartment for the month of june.
