Make Way for...MYA

Who doesn't love this children's classic? Our dear friend gave us a copy when she heard we'd be in Boston for the summer. We read this to Mya before bed many nights to try to give her some kind of visual for where we'd be living. Naturally, she became really excited about the swan boats in the book.



And here they are. Been around since 1910. That's super cool. So one day while strolling through Boston commons, we made a pit stop and relaxed with a swan boat ride, and thought of Jack, Kack, Lack, Mack, Nack, Ouack, Pack, and Quack, And of course, of Mr. and Mrs. Mallard, who appear to still be nesting in the middle of the pond.
