Pajama 'rama

Mya's 5th birthday party was quite an event. She chose to have a pajama party where everyone arrived in their favorite jammies and brought their sleeping bags, pillows, and stuffed animals. We used all of it to play games. As a craft, we decorated pillow cases with fabric markers. At the end of the party, we had a special guest, (not featured!?! what's wrong with me for not taking her picture?), the 'bedtime fairy', who sprinkled fairy dust on the girls to make them sleepy and read them bedtime stories while they cuddled up in their beds. Ella, the 9 year old daughter of my friend, was not only the bedtime fairy, but an excellent help to me. I couldn't have pulled this party off without her. Ella, if you'll remember from past posts, is who Mya claims she wants to be when she grows up.

Mya stood at the door and waited for her friends to arrive, about 6 hours before her party began.

What's more fun to a child than bowls of colorful candy on the table, free for the taking?

She loves her family.

Cake! What does it look like to you? It was a pajama themed party, so the cake is a bed decorated with 'stuffed animals'.

kapop! these were the party favors made by my friend meg. cake pops are not new however, you've never tasted something as good as 'kapops!' heaven on a stick. i should do commercials for her.
