Beloved daughter! You are finally a whole hand old! And it couldn't come fast enough for you. You have been wanting to be five since you turned four. This year has held some wonderful moments. You have certainly become a more mature big girl. Now, you are able to wait patiently for things you want, you say 'excuse me', 'thank you', 'you're welcome', 'please, forgive me', 'i forgive you', and 'exquisite' on a regular basis, with no prompting from your parents. You love people! You are a social butterfly, who is slow to warm up, but once you do, you can't get enough interacting with your friends. You love to care take, learn, you ask approximately 467,456 why questions a day. You love to read, to be read to, and to look at books. Even the ones with no pictures. You are amazing. Everyday you make us laugh. You read words we haven't taught you to read yet. You are clever, creative, happy, and fun. You are everything we could have asked for in a daughter and more. We are so blessed beyond words to have you in our family.

We feel so blessed to have watched Mya grow up these past 3 years. We love her so much and we are going to miss her dearly when we move.
