what is 'millry', you ask? millry is a one-traffic-light town where my grandmother and her husband reside. my mom and i took a walk thursday morning. we walked the perimeter of the town twice and were home in 30 minutes. we walked past a restaurant, four churches, an internet business, some houses, the post office and a gas station.
this could be considered culture shock as my immediate family is from new england. my mom's immediate family is from new england. but my mom's mom and her immediate family are from millry. she is a southern belle. thus, her name, emma belle.
mya traveled out of the state of florida for the first time for thanksgiving. it was a great time of fellowship.
