also known as duncan and debbie, are pseudo-parents and psuedo grandparents to so many here in saint louis. they have lived in the mid-west for decades and just by the sheer awesome nature of their personalities, there are so many people who know them, love them and are loved by them. since a novel could be written about these two i will just talk briefly about my family's experience with 'ducky and bubby', who graciously allow mya to call them by the same names given to them by their own grandkids. when we first visited our church, duncan introduced himself to bryan. since then, he and his family have taken us under their wing and made us feel like family. we love seeing them and spending time with them and i daresay, these two remind me of my own family in a lot of ways. here are some recent pics of what they call a 'casual monday dinner', but what bryan and i call, 'holy cow, people actually eat food this good all the time?' duncan laughed at me as i took pictures of a typical monday night in his home. i couldn't help it. we were delighted and i knew i'd want to post eye candy on the blog.
