i'm so impressed. age three has brought with it a learning explosion. mya loves to draw and write. it's really exciting to watch her grow and change. last week, she could not write her name. this week, she can. and she can write my name. her drawings have developed from scribbles and zig zags, to circles with dots for eyes and a straight line for a mouth, to arms and legs with hands and feet at the end. it's really fun to watch her in action.

and then there's this change. she recently, in what seemed like an overnight's time, outgrew her car seat. i let my friend do all the legwork and she found a great, affordable booster seat. mya is delighted to have the same one as her friend. here she is, looking like a ridiculously big girl.
