here's one my friend kat took at our school's fall festival. this was so fun. they had hayrides, of which mya partook approximately 8 times. it was on the school grounds so the kiddos enjoyed the big playground. the food was perfect fall weather food, delicious homemade chili and grilled hot dogs. there was even a bon fire and mya got to make her first s'more. it was so cute to see her standing patiently by the fire, watching a marshmallow stuck on the end of the long stick in her hands. of course, it melted to the point of slowly dropping off the end in one big, gooey, blob. being the super-mom that i am, i scooped the hot mallow up in my hand licked-y split, pulled strands of grass off of it and sandwiched it between chocolate and grahams. mmmm. we shared it.

trick-or-treat! we have a great neighborhood for trick-or-treating. i will greatly miss this when we graduate. the kids can practically walk themselves around and there's just the right amount of stops with enough candy to last... a long time. as soon as they get tired and cold, they're done. such fun.
