hot chocolate on the island

a perk of living in off-campus housing is that we have a built-in community for food and fun for pretty much whenever we want to partake of it. on halloween morning we congregated in the sun to enjoy hot coco and coffee cake. one of the things i thought was really cool was the host of this event decided to open it up to the whole neighborhood in which we live so that we could actually meet some new people, people who have lived here their whole lives but never venture into our culdesac because they don't know us. what a great idea! we actually met some new families. i took about 300 pictures but will only post one or two...or more...

bryan looks as in to this as the kids, here mr. josh is telling them a 'penelope story'. in our home, a penelope story is anything that comes to mind in terms of a story revolving around the princess penelope. josh didn't have a lot go on. he did well.
