fall!

for the longest time this is what it looked like around here. the leaves were changing colors and falling off the trees so fast due to heavy rain and lots of it. day after day it was as dependable as sore feet after a 10 mile run. i really wondered if i'd ever get a good picture this season. aren't colorful fall leaves so aesthetically pleasing, just soothing for the soul? yes! i had to capture some or i thought i might cry!



then, finally, after what felt like weeks of incessant rain, the sun broke through one early evening and it reflected off of some yellow and orange leaves still on the tree and i ran for my camera.




ahhh. i'm happy with these.
