the best big sister on the planet

mya could not love her sister more.  from before morgan was even a thought in our heads, mya has been asking God for a little sister.  'please', she would beg us at the dinner table, 'please give me a baby sister.  i promise, i will feed her and when she poops i'll change her diaper and put her to sleep in her crib! you won't have to do anything, i'll take care of her'. 

 

if you could see the video we took of mya meeting morgan for the first time in the hospital, you would see pure, unadulterated love.  'can i hold her? awwwww, look at her!  she's so cute!  hi morgan!  i'm your big sister.  i love you so much...aw, mom, she's so cute! can i change her diaper?'

 

'can i hold her?' is probably the single most question we hear on an hourly basis.  'yes!' is almost always my answer.  i love that mya's arms are continuously wide open for her sister.  i love to encourage that by giving morgan to her as often as she asks.



we've not seen an ounce of jealousy, except that she's jealous FOR morgan.  in other words, if someone else is holding her, mya wants to hold her.  morgan, your big sister will do anything for you.  as soon as you figure that out, use it to your advantage, girl!
